Meet our team:

JOHN COXONJohn Coxonis founder and principal consultant. John has many years experience as a consultant, executive coach, workplace trainer and project manager in the health sector and not-for-profit sector. John works with management teams, workplace teams and individuals, helping them develop and implement a variety of collaborative strategies, develop leadership competencies and implement effective management practices. John's work with boards and governance groups, alongside his time spent as a board member for various organisations has equipped him with a through understanding of the issues faced by governance groups in the non-profit sector. 

Jodie Hamilton is responsible for client liaison and customer service. Jodie will often be the first contact with a client. Her role is to ensure we understand client needs and to ensure all administrative and operational activities are in place to meet those needs.  

Associate Consultants. At John Coxon & Associates we bring together project teams of experienced consultants. Together we work as a team to ensure your needs are met. Each associate consultant we bring into a project team is able to demonstrate direct expereince in your sector. We don't match clients with consultants; instead having worked with you to identify your needs and desired outcomes, we bring to the project the consultants with the experience and knowledge to help you achieve those outcomes.

Recently John Coxon & Associates was engaged by an aged care facility to guide the Board and management through a strategic planning process. Initial work involved facilitating a public consultation process to gain an insight into future aged care needs. This feedback was combined with other desk research to create an overview of the emerging environment for aged care. This information provided the board with information to enable planning for the future. We then facilitated a series of planning sessions with the Board to establish overall strategy and direction before working with the management team to create a strategic plan for the next three years.


A hospital recently sought assistance from John Coxon & Associates to provide coaching to the CEO, Director of Nursing and several department managers. Due to a changing environment a number of interpersonnal conflicts had arisen. We worked with these people individually and in groups to help each of them gain a greater understanding of the others perspective and to bring about increased collaboration and communication.

fees

All contract fees are negotiated as a part of the process of preparing a proposal. A limited amount of probono hours are available for small non-profit organisations
