Integrated Management Process

Can you sense symptoms that indicate there is a problem; but are not sure exactly what the problem is? Before you spend any money trying to solve the problem you firstly need to identify the root cause of the issue.

John Coxon & Associates have developed an Integrated Management Process, a suite of diagnostic tools that enable you to pinpoint real issue is. Audit tools may be applied individually or collectively.

We have made three of these tools available to you for complimentary use in your organisation. They can easily be applied, the data gathered, analysed and made available for discussion.

These tools include:

  • An organisational audit - An overarching survey that provides indictors of how well your organisation; contributes to its mission,understands stakeholder and end user needs achieves outcomes defines direction understand the emerging environment,develops communication channels, value people,respond to issues, develops effectives systems and processes.
  • A management audit - to measure management capacity and how well your management group go about the process of manageing people and resources and achieving outcomes.
  • A leadership culture audit - to measure leadership culture within your organisation.

You are welcome to self administer any of the three diagnostic tools, shown above. If you feel you may need assistance with this process our consultants are available to guide the application, data collection and analysis of data. It is important to remember any diagnostic tools simply serves to provide an indication of a possible issue. Once the data has been collected and analysed, the next stage is to identify the root cause of the issue, identify a range of possible solutions, implement the appropriate solution and monitor the outcome. Our consultants are available to assist with this part of the process also.

In addition to the complimentary diagnostic tools shown above, we have a range of other auditing tools available to help identify value-based interventions. These include:

  • 360 degree feedback - used to provide evidence of need to change management behaviour. We are accredited to deliver Leadership Performance Profiles (LLP360). 360 degree survey tool was jointly developed between Team Leadership Services in Auckland and the Centre for Public Management in Canberra.
  • Workplace stress and burnout audit - measures the impact of workplace factors upon wellbeing and effectiveness. These audits have been developed by NCETA at Flinders University, SA.
  • Pre management coaching peer review - assesses how peers percieve the behaviours of a manager and provides a baseline for behavioural change during the management coaching process.
  • Project management culture audit - assesses the ability of your organisation to provide a supportative culture for projects and project management.
  • Health Equity Assessment Tool (HEAT) - a tool comprising a set of 10 questions, developed by Otago University, designed to enable assessment of policy, program or service delivery for their current or future impact on health inequalities.
