PRACTICAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT FOR NON-PROFITS This one-day workshop is designed to help those involved in managing projects or aspiring to manage projects. The focus of the workshop is on practical strategies and tools to help you bring your project home on time and within budget with minimal stress while enjoying your work. To date more than 200 people have participated in this workshop. Topics discussed include leadership, the role of the project manager, project management framework, project planning, strategies and tools, stakeholder communication, teamwork and project evaluation. Upon completion of this project you may access one hour of telephone coaching to assist you with implementing the ideas discussed during the workshop. Prior to the workshop you will be mailed a survey to identify the types of issues you experience and the areas you would like information on. This ensures you gain this information during the workshop and provides a basis for the ongoing coaching. Three months after the workshop you and your immediate manager will be mailed a feedback survey seeking your input on how you have implemented best practices in project management and outlining how the course benefited your organisation. This is a highly interactive workshop where participants are encouraged to engage each other in discussion, to share their experiences and seek input from others on how they might better manage their own projects. Those currently managing a project are asked to bring along details as a part of the afternoon session is devoted to groupwork around issues and solutions. Practical Project Management for non-profits costs $299.00 pp. Early bird discount and group discounts apply. Information kit. Dates & Venues Benefits & Outcomes Reserve your place now
